I was thinking, wouldn't a game collection that big would have at least one AO rated title? Damn....using the PSP as a web browser is hard.

My friend's family used to own a video store and only managed to get a PS2 with 6 games. Lucky Bastard _________________ Games DVD

I am a collector myself, but what I did was make a top 150 list and try to get what ever I can out of it.. The funny thing is that list has only covered NES, SNES, N64, PS1 and PC. Non inclusive of PS2, Gamecube or X-Box. I am currently around the 50 games in mint mark, got a long way to go. Collections certainly burn all your money lol _________________ 'They scream a lot, but I like it'

Why bother buying all that? U only need so many games...
What happens to games? They BREAK! What happens to discs? They SCRATCH! I have Super Smash Bros. Melee on Gamecube. I hardly ever take it out of its container and its scratched as hell. My point is, stuff brakes, and in the end you end up with a whole heap of broken, useless crap. It doesnt last 4 eva. At least with a few games you can individualy take PROPER care of them. _________________

^ wanting to be a collector myself, i disagree with most of your post (mainly cause i take great care of any games i own; & frankly, i have NEVER had any problems with breakages, or massive scratches on disks....
Am I the only one that is like that , meh)
I say, good on that kid for inheritting (if he did) all that stuff, also, i really congratulate the owner of that collection, for just obtaining all that stuff in the first place (i personally prefer more 'mint' items myself, & thus is one of my main dislikes of most of that collection)...
A lot of storage issues may need further insight into, but overall, the collection is pretty good
*waits around for David & others to back me up that Video Game collections can actually be interesting things* _________________

I always take excellent care of my games, and my discs never end up scratched, which I'm proud of. I put all my DS games into a drawer that I have reserved for them, as soon as I buy them. I rarely take them out of there, the carts get used a fair bit though. All of them looks just as good as when I bought them! I keep my PS2 and Gamecube discs in their covers when I'm not using them, and I keep the covers in the box that comes with the console, which I don't take them out of, except to remove discs from them. _________________

My collection is about 150 at the moment. Should be 200 by the end of the year. _________________

I agree with Dare and David (although my wife still can't understand why I would choose to collect video games).
That said - I finally went over the 1000 mark with my Big W drive on Sunday - 1004 or something now... very cool. _________________ GAMEparents

Holy crap! I'm about to hit 500, but a huge number of mine are very old (about 100 NES games, for example).
My wife doesn't mind at all, since I don't spend much money on them. Every time I buy something, I have to make some of that that money back by selling something else on ebay.

Mrs Puppy wants me to do that (ebay) but I just can't bring myself to let go. _________________ GAMEparents
