I was at the QLD/Indro tour but due to being at work, could only watch. Here's a couple of shots I took with my phone. Maybe there's some Palgn guys in here...

Ah, so his name is Zach?
I think I took about 2-3 time more pictures than Zach, but most aren't good shots. Here's a couple more for you.
The line for the Mario competition. This is at about 9:45. I wouldn't taken it at 8:30 but I was in line.. It was about 4x longer.
Here's Mario again, with the cake. Just now I only noticed what appears to be the Stylus for the Jumbo DS Lite on stage. I want that.

As for the tournament, considering how I no longer own a Nintendo DS, nor the fact that I haven't played Mario Kart DS in months and had never even touched New Super Mario Bros. until today. Having made it to one of the stages in the finals. I think I did pretty good. Especially since I came in third in my final race, in which the first and second spots were taken by the two previous Nintendo DS Connection Tour '06 Mario Kart DS champions.
Besides, I beat Mitch again in Mario Kart DS.

You know what i just realised?
The QLD Connection Tour's are held on Sunday (today; which i already knew) & Monday (weird)... 
Anyone thinkin of goin tomorrow?
Cause i welcome any more info on these events, cause once you think about it Nintendo is back in the marketing game (back as in, GCN hardly had any advertising on TV and such), I definately welcome that!

Are you able to come to the Connection Tours?
Or are you one of those peeps in SA that Nintendo Australia is dissapointing?
Cause i'm quite sure if you did go, that you would be the most hardcore Nintendo fan there for sure!
Got any particular Nintendo merchandise you would definately bring to these events?

Hey I was on my lunch break and I wasn't going to spend it in a line waiting to VS a 12yo at NSMB.

It is a pretty good phone camera @ 2.0 megapixel. Its on the Nokia 6280 from '3'.
Holy crap, I was standing right next to him when I took this shot. I saw a guy wearing a Mario costume and was going to ask him if I could take a photo, but just took this lousy shot. I'm sure he can recognise his hands and watch band.

AH Dare i can't make it to any of them.I'm in nsw, but i can't get time off work to play ds :/-funnily enough.I'm a good three hours away from sydney and just can't make it.
to the hardcore fan comment.lol, nah dare i'm sure there would be others much more hardcore then me, or those at least with enough balls to show it(i love my nes but would never be sen in public with a nes controller as a belt lol).
Nintendo merchandise to bring if i did go???Hmm........i dunno really.I don't have anything that is both small/portable and that also screams'how wow that's some cool nintendo shiznit'.It's all mostly snes/64/gba games that i collect, and i can't risk having them sneezed on by some snotty kid at the connection tour.
