Football is a contact sport in certain respects - shoulder-barges are permitted as long as the ball is within playable distance of both players, for example.
The idea of including physical tackling is so ludicrous I don't know where to start. A video official I would like to see, but limiting teams to three viewings per game would be handy.

well to me its the best game in the world.
well after thinking after reading your post chris-leigh i think your right. it would make it more defenseive but i still think that their should be the sheperding rule. everytime i have played soccer for P.E i have felt like helping my team mate by sheperding him and sometimes i do it illegally(do it so good that the teacher couldnt see it  ) and it has resulted and will result in more goals being scored, IMO.
and what the_cro said was right. i just put up sports that i think are very slow , boring sport to watch, but i can watch soccer only when the world cup is on and australia is in it. i absolutely hate watching the league they have in england(with the teams like liverpool and chealsea). i also hate watching the A-league.

A league is rubbish, EPL is good if you go for a team, and shepparding again would take skill out of the game and give big meaty idiots more sports to play.
Change AFL as much as you want, leave soccer alone.
