Just curious really - does anyone on these forums play Dungeons & Dragons or any other form of real, good old fashioned, table-top roleplaying?

Nope but I have seen it played. Looked kind of boring to me. Then I watched the cartoon and my idea changed, not only did I think it was boring but IMO it had a terrible cartoon icon_lol_old.gif

Don't get me started on how bad that cartoon was...

Can't imagine why you'd think it was boring though, Armageddon, but to each their own. Anyone else? Anyone been playing 3rd Ed. D&D?

I am not trying to get him or her [he or she]started[he or she] on how bad that cartoon was. I often wonder if imagine why you would think it was boring though Armageddon but to each their own can. There could be a few others.
I lost my train of thought.

Man IAI posts wierd stuff.

WJ I just thought RPGs were just boring back then and that is what I thought Dungeons and Dragons was like.

Did you see the movie? That was kind of cool, I saw it on a aeroplane.

Oh my god, if I thought the cartoon was bad, the movie was HORRENDOUS. Maybe it's because I enjoy roleplaying and maybe it's because I like good movies, but by god that movie sucked more ass than the prison bitch... I actually fast forwarded through the last half of the film, it was so unwatchable icon_sad.gif

I agree with you. It was the worst movie I'd seen since Battlefield Earth. So corny and predictable. And plot? What's that?

I've played 2 and 3e d&d a bit, not anywhere near as fantically as some people I know. Also I've recently purchased myself a copy of Neverwinter Nights which I highly reccommend to all of you out there to whom it should be available sometime this week.

I play WarHammer 40,000 with a couple of mates. I just started a couple of months ago and I'm still trying to get used to the rules...

A couple of years back Warhammer used to be a craze, and a bumch of my friends would always get together and paint them.

Twas a time consuming activity, but progress leads to enjoyment. I read somewhere that progress is something used to mask inevitable failure.
