Thats called "Rolling the Score" or "Clocking the Game"
First Game I clocked was Donky Kong Game & Watch which is really easy
if you can get to level 3 (I think) on 1 man and get the double score.
I'v rolled it 3 consecutive times at best
First game with an ending Super Mario Bros. on nes.
Although you start again with the goombas replaced with beetles and I never finished it on that ....
Hmmmm Possibly Menace Beach was the first "real" ending I got.
Man was I dissapointed when your girl didn't end up naked

zelda, ocarina of time, about 5 years ago, i had never been a really good gamer till then, but when i delivered that final blow to ganon, and watched what my efforts produced, something clicked in my head, and i went on to clock every 64, and mega drive game i owned, i then bought a cube and clocked each game i got as it came out...then my memory card got whiped for some reason, and i then clocked every game again...good times _________________

I don't exactly recall, but the first game I ever beat was either Super Mario World or Crash Bandicoot. As one of my friends had a SNES, and the other had a PSOne. So eventually I ended up borrowing their console for a bit, but I forgot which one I beat first.

Cool....I thought clocking was when you finished a game....but I guess it only applies to those sorts of games that loop....that's cool.
Anyways Super Mario Bros was actually the first game with an ending I ever saw get completed. I was playing but I wasn't really finishing many stages (it was my mate who owned it that finished like 80% of it when I was playing). _________________

I remember that, I used to help you doing the cannonball part with Donkey, you were always good with Diddy. _________________

For me it was Contra for the Family Computer (called NES in the West). First was with the 30 lives using the up up down down left right left right B A B A Start cheat then later with just the standard number of lives. Boy those were the days. _________________ Geejay
