Um, I'd just like to alert you guys that the online game's library, infinitegameplay.com.au seems to have done the dodgy.

I won through PALGN, a two-month subscription to infinitegameplay, and having liked their service, stuck with them for a few months more.

Then money got a bit tight so I cancelled my subscription (January).

Early last week I was billed again for some reason. It wasn't even inline with when I should have been billed if they didn't realise I cancelled my subscription (i.e. in March).
When I noticed this I sent them and email and phoned and left a message on their answering machine service.

A week later and no reply, I tried calling them and now their phone is no longer connected. icon_mad.gif

I think I got shafted... They still have my credit card details.

Surely you can have your card monitored and have a bar on certain things if you're worried.

Call Baycorp Advantage and request to have a file note put on your file. It can be upto 150 words max and you can ask it to say anything...e.g. before approving any credit applications etc please call this number XXXX. You can also have a service called 'My credit alert' put on there which alerts you of anything that goes onto your file within 24 hours via email. It's a good service (but it costs $25 I think....well it was last time I worked there) and it works well in conjunction with a file note. Just some advice, hope it helps. Credit Fraud needs to be stamped out!

EDIT: And no i'm not promoting them! Infact they're all dickheads (bar a couple of people)...but incase you needed some options...whatever..

I've got an infinitegameplay account, and we've run some competitions with them through www.AustralianGamer.com ... I've never had a problem with them except for a scratched copy of Oblivion that I got ...

Try emailing them at customerservice@infinitegameplay.com.au or info@infinitegameplay.com.au, or calling 1300 882 021 (is that the disconncted number?)

I'll try to get in contact with them now and find out the story.

Did both that.... Like I said in my first post, no reply on the email and the phone number was disconnected.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

"Hi Steven,

Sorry for the delay in response. We are in the process of moving
locations and have not had the opportunity to phone or email you. We
have refunded the membership fees and you will not be charged any
more. Please let us know if you need anything else and once again
sorry for the delay.

Regards,
David"

glad it all worked out.

although you've changed the subject, it might be an idea to edit the first post to include the outcome too.
