Scans are out there, but won't be posted here (hence why this is in the forum), but it looks mighty impressive. Kudos to Ubisoft, screw the doubters and all that jazz.
| Quick excerpt from the article wrote: | | it is highly unusual for a company like nintendo to allow the axclusive first look at one of its consoles through a 3rd party game like red steel.but as it turns out , nintendo has been closely involved in the development of this game, and has great confidence that it is a perfect way to introduce the world to revolution . developed by ubisoft paris , one of the publishers oldest and most experienced teams , red steel is a mixture of old and new: a fps that that uses the revolutions controller for aiming - and much more. while nintendo obviously has several games in development for the revolution launch , the company simply doesnt make games like red steel , so letting a respected publisher like ubisoft introduce the revolution through an easy -to - understand game type allows both companies to demonstrate what they do best .." |

and with the sword.
I'm saying wow too.
The scans are on the net. You would not play this game with a joystick.

Heeey... not bad!
If that's an accurate representation of what the Revolution can do, then it should be able to give us some very nice looking games. _________________

I doubt they would print over 11 target renders
Wow, it does look pretty good, can't wait to see how this looks running in motion.

If real, then IGN can definitley take a glass of shut-the-hell-up with their 'it's the same as the original xbox' crap.

I'm so excited about the possibilties. Turning your gun sideways, throwing grenades and taking cover - all with the exclusive use of the controller.
I love the fact that pulling back your gun will make it reload. Sure, its simple, but its just so much more fun than just pressing a button.
Plus, the game will feature online multiplayer, which is great because it means that Rev will have an online FPS at launch.
The visuals look great. Just imagine how good MP3 will look if this is anything to by! _________________ [This signature was deleted at the request of the original poster]

Woah. My doubts suddenly went down the drain, and hype has just surrounded me. And seeing that it's Ubisoft that are developing...excitement x10. _________________

Whoa, I totally have to check this out!
Edit: Whoa, that looks totally awesome. Turning the gun on its side Woo style is hardly a gameplay revolution, but pretty f**king cool.
I just hope FPS games are easier to play with a remote than a controller. God, I have terrible aim in PDZ. _________________

The sword fighting has me. This game could easily be the best 3rd party game on launch. _________________ Plufim comics

My reaction to seeing those screens? See if anyone has written it up for the site yet. No? Ok, then write up the goddamn article!
Then I notice this thread. Err, ok then. I hope the article still gets put up.
Those screens look AMAZING. E3 could not come sooner imo. 28 days, and counting... _________________

Killa. Now does anyone still have any doubts over Revo's graphical capabilities? 'Cause I'm pretty satisfied now that I've seen those screens..

To be fair the character polygon models are still pretty blocky. The overuse of fairly simplistic lighting effects reminds me a bit of Black. It's a bit dissapointing to see none of the lighing effects seen in Xbox 360 games, but I don't think I could have expected any more than this.
Odd, since this is the team that did Splinter Cell (correct me if I'm wrong) who are no slouches when it comes to lighting. _________________
