Received my XBOX demo today, thanks PALGN.
However, it keeps crashing and the restart mission trick isn't helping. Tried it about 4 times and I give up. Oh well...

I got my copies, yes COPIES, today. How I ended up with 2 I don't know...
Anyway, the demo is just crap. Not gameplay-wise, but the length! How far do you walk? 100 metres and it's over? Yay, that's a lot. 
On the other hand, the gameplay was actually nice for those brief 2 or so minutes. Only thing I didn't like was how slow your character moves to turn! WTF?
I still think I'll wait till this game goes down in price. WAY down.

Yes, my qualm with the demo is the length. It was over pretty damn quickly and I finished it first go. Almost died at one stage because I didn't see one of the enemies but then I popped him and that was that. Despite the short playtime I still enjoyed the demo/gameplay enough to purchase the game. I will be getting it soon.

I received my demo this morning, thanks guys.
As said, the demo is quite short. I don't have much experience with console first-person shooters (or pretty much ANY for that matter) so it took me a few minutes to get used to the controls, but it was still rather enjoyable.
I think I might hold off for a bit of a price drop, though, thanks to my somewhat empty wallet.

Yeah... i haven't figured out what causes my black demo to stuff up yet.. i tried restarting as soon as i could push start, i tried a second before it would freeze up, i tried *not* changing it to inverted, i tried not restarting the mission at all. I can't seem to get down the stairs without it freezing, i couldn't find another way to get down other than the stairs, the i thought it was cos i picked up the AK, but it froze after i had killed the guy on the bridge and the 2 by the car and went back to the door you have to go through and it froze there instead... anyone got a end-all solution?

just played through it then...by the way, THANKS PALGN! All those things needed a dollar or more postal stamps so it couldn't have been the cheapest little promo to do for you guys!
Anyway, the game...As others have said, yes it is a ridicilously short demo but...visuals and audio are very impressive. It's all a little busy though. There's so much shit blowing up everywhere and smoke and powder etc etc that you have no proper vision of the guys getting hit. As someone else said, little slow on the turn. Other than that gameplay seemed good. Wasn't too easy or too hard to hit enemies. If you get a head shot they go down and if you hit them anywhere else it takes a few to take em down which is great!
If the level design is well done in the full game then it will be great as I can see the harder setting making for some really tight and nervous moments!
Still, I think I'll just hire it for now and finish it that way (free employee rents  )

Got my xbox back last night!
The xbox demo doesn't work for me though. It gets to the loading screen then hangs up. I can't even get to the stage where I can pause and restart :s
