Finished off Super Mario World earlier (for the first time in quite a while) and started playing through Drill Dozer. Amazingly simple yet amazingly fun game. If you're looking for a quirky 2D platformer for your GBA/DS then give this a look. Import only at the moment, though. _________________

borrowed Star Wars: Empire at War off of a mate last night, so got into that in a way.
pretty good, i never got to try the demo, so i didn't really know what to expect, or how the final product compares, but i'm having quite a laugh with it.
too me, it seems more like an update on the old SW: Rebellion (a galactic resource game, rather than an RTS game) game, rather than a full-on RTS like i was expecting.
obviously i haven't gotten far into it, but it seems that the ground RTS element is quite simplistic compared to many recent ground RTS's, it's almost like a Dawn of War: Lite, but since that's not the only element to the game, it's probably forgiveable.
i have noticed that the vehicles handle more realistically than many RTS vehicles. requiring a turning circle to change directions, for example.
anyway, looks like it's worth a look. _________________

Don't make me hit you Obs.
Well I am still playing SotC obviously (as if I wouldn't be) and have defeated the 5th Colossus. I now refuse to read the official thread until I have finished the game because I do not want to read any spoilers.
Also playing We Love Katamari too as that arrived two days ago (Wednesday). It's... unique. (damn fun too)
Also still plugging away at DMC 3 slowly too.
BLACK is next and if I have my way, V8 Supercars 3 too. _________________

Still playing Animal Crossing, but my house is starting to get clogged up with raffle tickets... Maybe I shouldn't buy everything everyday?
I picked up FF Tatics Advance in the car the other day, can't stop playing now... So much for Resident Evil 4... _________________

Progress update.
Shadow of the Colossus - I defeated the 6th Colossus today and had a go at the 7th although he managed to kill me. I did work out how to get onto him but didn't reach his weakpoints. First death in the game for me then.
Devil May Cry 3 - Played a fair chunk of this today. Went from the beginning of chapter 5 to what I believe is the ending of chapter 7. I'm up to a battle to say the least. Won't say anymore due to spoilers but anyway. I'm getting quite addicted to the game really, anytime I die I always have the urge to get back into it straight away. I'm also improving too which makes me enjoy it even more.
Rocking. _________________

Why would you get smack vs raw 2006 for the psp and the ps2. They're basically identical.
Also i completed black and white. So now i'm on Battle Realms. _________________

Also getting on to the last few races of Need For Speed: Most Wanted. _________________

Star Wars: Empire at War.
pretty cool actually, almost an amalgamation of Star Wars: Rebellion and Force Commander (but good).
if you haven't played it, combat occurs on 3 levels: Land, Orbital, and Galactic. you need to control various systems, and you defend them in an RTS environment. pretty cool.
resources are gathered through controlling systems (you can buff gathering by building mines, kinda like listening posts in DOW) and you build barracks and so on on a galactic scale, rather than while fighting.
combat is restricted to what you have already, but if you are defending your planet with a barrack on it, you can recruit soldiers on the fly.
buildings are built on hardpoints, like Battle for MiddleEarth, but these are basically turrets (Anti-Infantry, vehicle, air) or repair stations.
all in all, i had fun _________________
