I meant that they are a direct sequel to each other(with same charactrers, taking place right after the original, etc), while the normal discworld books would change character sets and settings between books, and coming back to those characters a few books later. _________________

Currently in the process of reading The Guild Wars Manuscripts Book 1: The Lore of Guild Wars. When I bought this game, I didn't expect it to have a freaking novel sized instruction manual... It'll take me some time to get through all of this, but so far it's held my interest. _________________

seems not many other people read books anymore.
oh well.
at the moment i'm reading the second HP Lovecraft Omnibus: Dagon and Other Macabre Tales. it was considered Horror back in the day, but is quite quaint and tame by today's standards.
still, they're good stories usually focussed on mental anguish and his works inspired almost any horror writer you can name.
i would've started with Omnibus 1, but i've lost my copy and needed to order another. _________________

Just finished 2 Narnia books as of last night. I forget their titles, but it is the one where Caspian is first introduced and then the one after that... _________________

Currently reading The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Good read so far, one of Stevenson's most interesting novels.

Yeah, it's a good one that one. What other Stevenson have you read? I like the scottish flavour to all his stuff.

was the Farseer Trilogy the Assassin's Apprentice/Quest/<third one which i've forgotten>?
if it is, i read them years ago, they were pretty good, i really should re-read them, and the other books. i didn't actually know they existed.
i didn't like The DaVinci Code, i never finished it though, the writing style (or lack of) completely threw me off it. i'll probably go see the film though, i would hope the issues in the book medium have been rectified through the adaptation.
at the moment, i'm still reading Dagon, but also reading the Ghost in the Shell Manga as well. _________________

Anyone here read the first two books in the Inheritence triology? They are Eragon and Eldest, written by Christopher Paolini.
Eldest is just so awsome... words fail me in describing it's downright awsomeness. It is a must read. _________________

^ yeah i just read those books too (well, Eragon for the second time). i was really impressed with Eragon, but Eldest was a little too cliched imo.
still, it was a damn good read, better than many books i've read. _________________

I have also read Treasure Island and Kidnapped. As for the Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown has craftfully juxtaposed, a mildly controversial plot and a poor writing style in order to make millions of dollars. Good for him!

I read Death Note semi-recently. Good manga, read up to chapter 80. Felt it lost some of what made it so good, about halfway through.
Currently re-reading Agent to the Stars.

well, where'd you get that form? Taht's a tricky one it is! Well, we manag fans bond well!
Didn't think there'd be many others like me who prefer the romantic comedies best, thought they'd like the action stuff more (I like it too!) like Kiddy Grade or Noir. Argh! So much to read and watch! _________________

theres a saying here:
'' There little time, so many manga, so little money to spend.''
Romantic comedies are great. The action ones are also good but it mainly contains pages of people doing battle crys
Manga fans do bond well indeed. _________________ Moomba! moomba! Moomba!
