Jimdash360 - ...
argh! no rhyming scheme!
unless...
jim - him, trim, win, bin, dim
dash - bash, crash, bash, smash (violent, aren't i?) mash, thrash, lash
and see? if we separate them, we get many rhyming schemes! another unique heyo! _________________

Ahoy ahoy... I kinda introduced myself over in the Animal Crossing thread... hadn't even made it past that forum before signing up
So yeah... *waves a little* Hopefully this shall be a good home for me. Anything that keeps me procrastinating from more important things is a good idea, right?
right?!!?

And by 'her', Nate means 'here'.
Welcome to the forums, hopefully Animal Crossing won't be the only thing that keeps you here.
Enjoy your stay. _________________

Believe it or not I've never played Animal Crossing. Does that mean I've been living under a rock?

Well I haven't played classic games such as Super Metroid or Half Life 2, for example, so it seems we both live under rocks. Although it doesn't matter really as we can't experience every game out there. Of course I will be trying my utmost hardest to experience Super Metroid at some point in my life. It is Metroid, after all. _________________

Yes. Super Metroid definitely is Metroid. Possibly the finest example of Metroid ever. It is more important to play this game then it is to save money for a new TV.
I haven't played Animal Crossing either, and although the concept intrigues me, it doesn't really bother me that I haven't played it. I mean I've bought games I really want to play and not started them yet. There's too much stuff to do, not enough time.
Oh, and welcome new peeps. _________________

Heh, perhaps, but then I could always experience Super Metroid on that new TV. _________________

1: never played animal crossing: looks too time consuming for my tastes
2: metroid: great game.
TIP: a) don't play NES version
b) don't expect to finish metroid
more then once unless you have a guide
3: to all the newbies i've missed: heyo! _________________

I'm confused. Wouldn't finishing it once make it easier for the 2nd and subsequent play throughs?
(Do you mean that beating the original Metroid on NES might be so damn frustrating that nobody in their right mind would attempt it a second time?) _________________

1. Too late, already have played the NES version and probably will again some day. I'd love to finish it.
2. If it is Metroid, then the dedication will always be there. From me at least, regardless of whether it is hard or not. _________________

actually, i just thought finishing the game (metroid prime) once took a lot of time and effort. I didn't think i'd need to play it again (i got further then Big Pete). Afterwards, there were so many other games to play, i thought, "don't need to play this again," and gave it back to BP. ^^" _________________

When Kicky says he has gotten a life, he means it. There was once a time when he was working pretty damn extensively so it's good that he has had time to himself recently. Or something. _________________

I wasn't sure where else to put this post so I stuck it here.. I have heard of online places you can go to post ads for sharehouse rooms available or look at ads of people needing accommodation (in Oz) - does anyone know the web address of any of these places or can recommend a good one?
