Yup, & normally you would like cool breeze blowing to you in hot days. Well, as for today, imagine the "breeze" is being blow out of a hairdryer. Hot, heat wave... walk home... icon_sick.gif didn't had any water on me either.

Well yesterday it was 44 in Melbourne, and was still 40 at around 7pm. But luckily soon after that a cool breeze came along and it was raining most of the day today. Looks like I didn't really miss much of the Sydney weather on this holiday, with 3 beach days in a row, actually moreso than I have gone to the beaches in Sydney in the past few years.

We just got a kool beeze, only problem is it's a Southerly which is flaring up a burshfire down south and affecting the stable-house where my mum keeps her horse.

Well my night was reasonably cool (of the rocking kind, it was bloody hot) last night, although it didn't exactly go the way I perhaps would have liked.

As I said in my last post, I was invited to head into town. So, I was picked up at about 9:30pm and we went to the bus interchange to catch a bus in. Got there, met up with someone else who was finishing work and then we begun to check things out. Walked around the joint, I laughed (in my head) at some drunk people and whatever and then we stopped where a DJ was playing. Watched him for a while then continued on. Eventually we came to another stage where a band was playing. They were playing random 70's music so (because of the other company) we hung around. They ended and then it was announced that Babba (Abba cover band) were going to be playing. So, as soon as I heard that I knew we wouldn't be going anywhere (because I was the odd one out) and so yes, the rest of my night was spent listening to Babba play. They were stopped for a bit for the Midnight fireworks display, but then they came back on stage and contined until about 1:15am. We then went back and saw what else was going on, then got drinks. Then we decided to head home, so we caught the bus. It was a 'Nightrider' service bus which means it didn't have a specific route and that it just went through suburbs dropping people off where they wanted to. The trip ended up being a 2 hour bus trip but that was fine as it was damn hilarious seeing where it would go next and so on. Plus the other passengers provided plenty of laughs.
We got home eventually, at like 4am or something. I then watched Rage for half an hour before going to bed.
It was a good night overall but it could definitely have been better for me personally. Why? Well, basically because the night felt more like we went out to attend a Babba gig than it did to celebrate the new year. I don't hate Abba/Babba music and I don't dislike it either, I am just over it and therefore didn't enjoy it too much. I am over it only because mum killed the Abba songs when I was younger and yeah, just haven't cared for them since. Although, the two chicks in Babba are pretty hot.

Er yeah. Good night but could have been better.

i was sick for NYE icon_sad.gif

EDIT: just realised this might've been mis-interpreted. i was actually sick, like "plenty of fluids and plenty of rest" sick. so my NYE was spent in bed.

My new years eve was fun enough, played cricket, cards and spotlight (not the best game Iv'e ever played) and then got some non alchoholic wine for the count down.

Next morning get woken up by one of the more annoying people I know, who's trying to draw on this other guys face. so I had a headache from being woke up. climbed the mountain with a headache, damn hard to climb, 3.1 k's up on steep stairs. It was still awesome and the view was sweet! coming down only took about an hour but stepping down on hard rocks hurt me head. Got back and was lucky one of the adults had some neurafin(sp) that stuff was a life saver. after that more of the same, then drove home most of the way with friends with the music on real loud, got home and that all.
