PALGN Mario Kart DS Clan?

This was suggested in the other Mario Kart topic, but to those people who play MK over Wifi how about we start up a PALGN clan? I know there was already that tournament between websites, but what about a clan that organises matches against other people in the world? Anyone up for it? If there is enough support for it we might see if we can organise some sort of ranking system to create the clan.

I voted yes, but at the moment I'm unsure what clans are all about. Would you be able to explain to me what a MKDS clan does boc?

Well, basically what it would be I guess would be races every now and then to make people better at it and then races against other clans for bragging rights. The rest would probably be worked out as time progresses.

Yep. Im in. We should create like a little logo to put into our emblem. I think gamefaqs has like a little green square or a blue diamond or something like that.

I voted yes, but its a pretty gay system. They should have it so there are actual 'teams' which you can be a part of, and race other teams, officially. the way they have it now with worldwide, regional, and friends is pretty basic.

Here's to hoping that someday they make an update that can be downloaded over Wifi where they make a better system.

If you want to be part of the clan, PM me with your msn addy and I'll add ya. I'll see how many people we can get, work out a good logo and maybe organise some matches.

Randomly, I'll probably be hopping onto Wifi sometime soon for a few matches. I had a race on christmas morning, hoping that the only people online would be really crap, but ran into some pretty damn good racers. Down goes the win-loss ratio...

Change "Clan" to "Team" and you will be onto something. It isn't that hard to have a few active team members to organise a few races on MSN.

"Mitchacho and the PALGN boys" seems like a good team name atm

Maybe we could shorten our names and just have something like "[PAL] <name>".

Maybe just 'Mitch PAL' or whatever. We could always have the same decal with minor alterations to show individuality.

Boco and I were pretty evenly matched for the most part. But some tracks we are much better at and win. This is where we would show each other a good strategy and/or shortcuts. Yoshi falls is awesome to own newbs in.
