i wrecken that it is crap that it will only take a limited amount of xbox games. i hope the ps3 will take all their ps2 games

Learn to spell, now.
Sony will also support a limited selection, and will probably not offer updates like microsoft.
What you have to consider that if Microsoft just upgraded all the parts, then it would do native backwards compatibility. But when you totally retool the console- as is being done this generation, then it has to be under emulation.

I heard the PS2 could render Toy Story real time with its emotion engine.
Promises from a big company can hardly be relied on, promises made for the long term most and for the short term least. That is why people are more inclined to believe MS about the 360 as from being told about it to product launch is a lot less than the PS3 and Sony used over-hype to kill another console that is suspiciously like the Xbox 360.
