Also on PlayStation 3

Final Fantasy XIII is a tale of souls from a futuristic civilization illuminated by the Light of the Crystal. Here, the tranquility of those living in Cocoon is shattered with the discovery of one hostile fal'Cie.

Expanding upon the rich tradition of the series, producer Yoshinori Kitase, director Motomu Toriyama, character designer Tetsuya Nomura and art director Isamu Kamikokuryo combine their creative vision to deliver the latest masterpiece in the Final Fantasy universe. Additionally, Masashi Hamauzu presents a sweeping soundtrack while movie director Takeshi Nozue and his team of artists adorn the game with seamless cinematic sequences of unparalleled calibre.

This eagerly anticipated title takes full advantage of the HD system's advanced hardware, providing tangible, intuitive controls while delivering seamless transitions between real-time gameplay and stunning in-game cinematics. The latest in cutting-edge technology has been utilized in development of Final Fantasy XIII, thus making this newest addition to the Final Fantasy series worthy of the title "next generation."
