Star Ocean: The Last Hope is set before the first Star Ocean title. As a prequel title, gamers will take control of hero Edge Maverick and heroine Reimi Saionji as they explore atleast five different planets.
Throughout the journey, players will encouter enemies which are dealt with via the four party battle system.
