Calling all Cars to be transferable to PSP

PSP News | Calling all commuters.
God of War creator David Jaffe's excellent PSN download title, Calling all Cars, is set to be made available to transfer and play on your PSP. Or someone else's PSP.

The latest issue of "PSP - The Official Guidebook" spilled the beans, and while it didn't give specifics on how the feat would be accomplished, it did mention that the title would include "comprehensive multiplayer modes in both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure." Given that multiplayer was such a huge focus in Calling all Cars, and where the majority of the mayhem-fueled entertainment was derived, this can only be a good thing.

Presumably, the title will either be patched, or a new version released on the Playstation Store; hopefully not at extra cost to those who have already purchased the game. Whether or not it sets any kind of precedent, it'd certainly be a bonus if more PSN games were made available for play on the PSP in the future.

Great news. If only Sony would realise how much more successful things would be for them if the Sony Online Store allowed direct purchases through to the Playstation Portable. All attempts to try and get people to fork out for a PS3 aside, its time to bite the bullet and stream direct to PSP owners who dont own or wont be purchasing the George Foreman Grill in the future, yet are willing to part with their cash for nostalgia's sake on their PSPs.
