Tabata believes that general playtime should last for roughly 30hours, but when trying to recover all of the materia and going out into Midgar for side quests, he expects the game could last for over 100hours. Crisis Core is apparently 90% complete, and the game’s size is unlike any other handheld game ever released, according to the pair.
In addition, the pair revealed that Limit Breaks will level up, players will be able to combine two materias and that each character will have a special memory fragment related to them. Stay tuned for more on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII as we slowly approach its Japanese release later in the year.
