God of War PSP images revealed

PSP News | From a teaser trailer, pointing to a prequel?

As we wait those final few weeks to get our hands on one of the penultimate PS2 titles, God of War II, our good buddies at Jeux-France have come across some screenshots from the upcoming PSP version. As most discerning fans will know, the existance of the PSP title was given away on the back of the manual of the US God of War II release, a few months back.

The new screens can be found in our Media Panel. However, anyone who is worried about their quality, ought to know that they are bigger than your usual PSP screens and that they were ripped from a teaser trailer that's currently making the rounds on YouTube. The game looked quite solid in motion, and the trailer seemed to be pointing to the game being a prequel. We'll have more on God of War: Chains of Olympus as it becomes available to us.

I wish they would concentrate all their efforts into a Ps3 outing...that's what would make me happy. In any case....this Psp version is still a must have for me....I hope they incorportae FMV cutscenes.

deffinately looks good, and if they do decide to milk it some more they'll probably focus on the ps3 by then. with psp compatability.

I suddenly feel a MIGHTY NEED to own a PSP.

I hope Ready At Dawn are up to the task. The God of War franchise is one of AAA quality, so I'd say they've got a heck of a lot to live up to. Those screens are inspiring confidence, so I'm optimistic.

I wonder what's going to happen to the dodge roll? The PSP doesn't have a right stick...

Plus, I also checked out the trailer on gamevideos.com. Looks pretty darn impressive already. Now all I need is for PSP prices to drop like a bomb.
