Worms wriggling to handhelds again

PSP News | PSP and DS follow-ups just three months away.
Gaming's most famous annelids are due for a comeback later this year. A THQ press release has confirmed that there's a sequel to Worms Open Warfare in the pipeline, colourfully titled Worms Open Warfare 2. Due for release on both the PSP and Nintendo DS this July, a date is just about all we have to go on right now, though with such an imminent release, we're expecting first screens and whatnot in the coming weeks.

You can cast your eye over our DS and PSP reviews of the original game in the meantime. Here's hoping the DS version picks up the slack this time.
