Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops due in May

PSP News | PAL gamers forced to wait more than six months.
Konami has today confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is set for release in early-May. It was originally expected that the game would be released on April 1, but it appears the joke is on the PAL consumer.

Yesterday, Konami sent out a release schedule which indicated that Portable Ops would be released on June 7th, but this was an error, and while the game doesn't have a date set in stone yet, we should see it this May.

Sony keep doing this with Australian PSP releases, that's one of the reasons I'm not getting a PS3.

Konami, please. Please release Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops in early May, i.e. before or on May 6. Being one the best and biggest fans of the Metal Gear series it would be splendiferous if it could be released before this day, one of the most special to me, being the celebration of my day of birth.
Please consider.
Yours faithfully,

The PSP is region free, so there's not been anything stopping anyone who wanted to play it from playing it back when it was released.

There is to me. My entire collection is PAL and we normally get better art and special features that the other regions dont get, so i wont buy it twice because ours is better. I always wait out, a good little fan, as i'll continue to do until policies change.
