Beaterator coming to the PSP

PSP News | Courtesy of Rockstar.
Rockstar confirmed via a press release that they have teamed up with R&B producer and rapper Timbaland to bring Beaterator to the PSP.

Beaterator was originally created back in 2005, and is a web-based music mixing program. The PSP version will include multiple usable effects, eight sequencing tracks, a two-octave keyboard and rhythm games, challenge mode and original music from Timbaland. "I've always been a huge fan of Rockstar and love playing their games," said Timbaland. "I'm thrilled to be partnering with them and making music for Beaterator. I cannot wait to get this in the hands of our fans!"

I just checked out the flash program up on Rockstar's site and loved it. It's great to hear it's making it's way to the PSP, even though I don't have one. At least I know it'll be there waiting for me once I do eventually pick one up.

Well... damn... I was hyped as hell and then I read that Timbaland is involved. He does have some good beats, I'll give him that, but in my opinion he is the KING of all overrated Hip Hop producers. Still, it's better than the pop music crap on Lumines II.

Hope this is well received so we (I) can get more Hip Hop related video games. Flow: Urban Dance Uprising, Get On Da Mic and a couple of Singstar tracks just don't cut it.
