Portable Ops, which was released in December in the US, received a ton of positive feedback and was cited as the best Metal Gear Solid handheld title. The game is set in 1970 and follows the events after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as Snake establishes the elite FOXHOUND unit in an attempt to hunt down the FOX unit.
The PAL version of the game will include twelve more characters than existing Japanese and US versions, while the existing character careers have also been revamped to highlight key attributes, such as athleticism or physical strength.
In addition, gamers can expect to find two new maps in the game’s multiplayer and indulge themselves in an exclusive mode, entitled ‘Boss Battle’ – where you’ll be rewarded with new recruitable characters once you've taken care of the game’s toughest adversaries.
