Burnout Dominator will include a new maniac mode where you'll need to drive on the edge as much as possible to watch your score soar. There will also be signature shortcuts on every track. If you can't take the shortcut yourself then you'll be able to ram your rival into the shortcut entrance to unlock the signature shortcut.
You won't just be able to take the one ride and work your way up through the world tour mode. This time you'll need to master all of the vehicles and all of them will feel different. The game will also include a dominator series, but progressing to the series will require you to win races, takedown rivals and nail the challenges thrown at you.
You'll also be able to pass the PSP or analog controller around with your friends to own the competition. If you'd rather go head-to-head then the PSP version will support Ad Hoc multiplayer and the PlayStation 2 version will include split screen multiplayer support, but won't feature online play.
EA also elaborated a little bit on what we can expect from the PSP version. You'll be able to synchronise your game with friends on the completion of Dominator to compare race times. Criterion are also planning to offer exclusive new tracks for download after the game's release.
We'll have more on Burnout Dominator shortly, but in the mean time why not check our Media Panel for the latest images of the game in action?
