New Prince of Persia title coming to the PSP

PSP News | Out this year in PAL regions.

Gamespot are reporting that Ubisoft has confirmed Prince of Persia: Rival Swords is coming to the PSP in PAL regions this year. The game will be an upgraded port of Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, much like how Prince of Persia Revelations was an upgraded port of Prince of Persia Warrior Within.

All we know about the game so far is that there will be an extra level as well as new puzzles. Despite the fact that Revelations was an upgraded port, it suffered from some issues (such as a poor camera and long loading), so here's hoping that Ubisoft has learnt from it's mistakes. If we hear anything more about Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, then we'll report back.

Lets hope they've leart from their mistakes and there won't be any glitches or frustratingly long loading times this time around.

I'll be happy if a giant blade the size of my body actually kills me in this title (a personal issue I had with the console titles I played), is it just me or are 3D characters a lot more resilient to getting cut in half than 2d characters?

There were alot of issues that needed adressing, and if this game can do that, i reckon it will be a great game. But i have a feeling it wont quite do it.
