TOCA Race Driver 3 coming to the PSP

PSP News | Exclusive to PAL regions.
Codemasters has announced today via a press release that TOCA Race Driver 3 (alternatively known as V8 Supercar Race Driver 3) will be released exclusively in PAL regions for the PSP at the end of the year.

TOCA Race Driver 3 isn't a port of the console versions that were released earlier in the year, but rather a successor to V8 Supercar Race Driver 2, which was a PSP launch title last year. The game will include a World Challenge mode, which takes players through plenty of different car championships including the British GP through to the V8 Supercar championship.

The game will also come with a Free Race and Time Trial mode. Multiplayer support will be included for up to twelve players if everyone owns a copy of the game, otherwise the game will support gameshare for up to four players.

We'll have more information on TOCA Race Driver 3 as soon as it becomes available. The first images for the game can be found in the media panel.

Awesome. Why is it not being released over a larger area?

^ Well, Most Americans don't like racing any track that has more than one bend, Most Japanese don't know how to drive anyway (they keep sliding thier cars everywhere) and no one wants to give Euros a racing game as all they do is spoil it for everyone eles. Although the South Americans, Canadians, and Middle Easteners may have been interested and are usually good value.

^ That and most of the championships that you find in the Toca/V8 games are in the territories that this new game will be released in. In other words, it is where the market is.
