New GUN Showdown information

PSP News | You wanted a Showdown, you've got a showdown.
Do you remember Gun?. The game was Neversoft's first original IP since they began the Tony Hawk series and even though it was a bit of fun, it certainly had it's shortcomings. The game is still scheduled for a release on the PSP and Activision have released some of the first information on the game.

The PSP version isn't just a direct port of the original, with five new missions specifically designed for the PSP. There will also be new weapons, although so far we only know of mines and throwing knives.

The newest addition to the series appears to be the Quick Play modes which include Shotgun Games, Mission Challenge and Texas Hold 'Em. As you would expect the game will also include some Wi-Fi multiplayer modes; although unfortunately it doesn't look like you'll be able to play online.

To celebrate the occasion we've also managed to secure some images of the game in multiplayer. Enjoy.
