E3 2006: Call of Duty 3 coming to the PSP?

PSP News | Confirmed behind closed doors at E3, apparently.
Just prior to E3 last week, we announced that Call of Duty 3 was in development for all home consoles by Treyarch, while Infinity Ward are probably working on the yet to be announced PC versions. However, French site Jeux France are saying that, in addition to this, Activision are planning on a PSP version of Call of Duty 3 as well.

Apparently, behind closed doors at E3, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said that Call of Duty 3 was indeed coming to the PSP in the third quarter of this year. Of course, there are no further details given - not even which developer will be leading the project.

Who will be developing Call of Duty 3 on PSP? When will there be an official announcement made? Is this nothing but a rumour? We'll let you know as soon as this becomes official fact or merely fiction.
