Pre E3 2006: Test Drive Unlimited coming to the PSP and PS2

PSP News | Xbox 360 demo available next week.
In a bit of a surprise announcement, Atari has let us know that Test Drive Unlimited will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and the PSP. All three versions of the game will be available in Quarter 3, 2006.

Test Drive Unlimited was one of the first games that was announced alongside for the Xbox 360, and is looking like it may be a title that redeems the Test Drive name. It's not all doom and gloom for Xbox 360 owners though, an exclusive demo of Test Drive Unlimited will be available from next week on the 8th of May through to the 14th of May. It's all a part of Microsoft's strategy to bring E3 home to the gamer.

We'll have more information on Test Drive Unlimited shortly. Either way it's quite surprising to see that the game will now be appearing on multiple platforms, and the PSP receives yet another racing game.

The question is, will the MMO (ish) component of the title remain for these versions? I'm actually going to say that it won't, but that is just a guess.

Well either way, the news doesn't concern me because I will still be going for the Xbox 360 version come release.
