Daxter in action

PSP News | Who knew a PSP game could look so impressive?
It's been months since Sony have sent us any information or images of Daxter, but the media drought was broken today as Sony revealed some of the best images yet of the game in action.

Daxter will be the first time in the series that the furry orange rodent has had the action to himself. Just like Jak became an unofficial mascot for the PlayStation 2, it seems that Sony is hoping that Daxter will become an unofficial mascot for the PSP.

Rather than just a straight platforming game, Daxter is more of an action adventure title and the latest images look absolutely sensational, showcasing some of the vast environments that we'll see in the game.

We've included the latest images in the media panel. We'll have more information on Daxter as soon as it becomes available.

Not bad, but I'm not exactly a PSP fan, so I'll say this much, they can make some good 3D evironments on PSP.

the jak series is one of my favourite series on the ps2 so i'll definetly check this one out, im a bit concerned though cause Naughty Dog isnt developing it. Hopefully it will turn out good

Ready at Dawn is comprised of ex-Naughty Dog workers, and was formed by one of the senior directors (or programmers, either one), plus also including a number of ex-Blizzard workers. So asking whether or not the company is capable of working on this series, I personally believe they are plenty ready. The Jak engine they're using is an excellent engine and as soon from the footage of this game, is very smooth.

This title is one of the few that makes me wish I had a PSP, but then I realise that this is all I'd be playing so I'm not bothering, yet.

Looks like a worthy title for PSP
