Driver headed for PSP

PSP News | Sumo Digital confirmed to develop.
Atari has today announced that the development of their forth installment in the Driver franchise will also be receiving a PSP release in addition to the previously announced PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions.

Sumo Digital is set for the task to develop the PSP version. The company isn’t unfamiliar with the racing genre, having worked on such titles as Outrun2 and is currently developing Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast. No details have been revealed for the PSP version, however, it is believed that the game will be much more car-focused rather than its more GTA-styled home console outings set for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

Driver: Parallel Lines will be released during March for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. No release date for the PSP version has been announced.
