The good guys at Jeux France, have managed to obtain some magazine scans that confirm the game's existence. The first of the two scans shows a magazine preview of the game, and judging by the screenshots, it looks like it'll retain the style from the second and third Budokai instalments. Not only that, they look quite impressive as well. The second scan shows an advertisement, presumably from the same magazine.
One of the more touted features of the game is the ability to play with friends wirelessly. Others include in-battle transformations (something that was omitted from Tenkaichi Budokai), eighteen characters and six stages. The number may be a little sparse when compared to other Budokai titles, but we're sure that they'll cover the basics. Word has it that Pikkon, from the Otherworld Tournament saga for those in the know, will be making an appearance.
While the current projected EB date of 24th March is probably too good to be true, Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai is set for a Spring release in Japan, with most territories to follow suit. We'll bring you more as it becomes available.
