There is a huge range of gangs roaming the streets of Liberty City, each one has a signature car that you’ll quickly learn to recognize. While it’s worth being wary of the occupants of these gang vehicles, it can also be worth familiarizing yourself with the advantages and disadvantages inherent in each type. After all, many of these cars will represent the best machinery available. Nobody else in Liberty City takes as much care over the customization of their rides, possibly because nobody else’s life depends on it. Learn which gang cars suit your needs and also learn where to pick them up. Remember though, gangs carry guns and they certainly won’t be pleased to be pulled from their cars by anybody, least of all a Leone.
Leone Sentinel:
A sleek, black sedan, the Leone Sentinel can often be seen rolling slowly around St. Marks with opera blaring out of the windows. The Leone family have taken the classic Sentinel and made it their own. A turbo-charged engine gives it an extra boost of speed when needed and the lowered body and wider tyres give better handling – both are essential characteristics for mobsters in need of a getaway car. The trunk doesn’t actually come lined with bin bags as standard, but they can be easily fitted.
You’ll find a Leone Sentinel parked outside Don Salvatore’s mansion in St. Marks, if you’re brave enough to steal it from under the boss’ nose.

Triad Fish Truck:
The Triad Fish Truck is anything but glamorous, but the local Triads of Liberty City don’t use their vehicle for such frivolity. It’s large and it’s unwieldy, but it can certainly carry a lot of fish. One of the best things about carrying a lot of fish in the back of your truck is that very few cops are willing to conduct a thorough search of your cargo. Any that try will stink of fish for the next few days and you can rest assured they won’t be in a hurry to search you next time. The Fish Truck is therefore an ideal place to hide an enormous payload of explosives.
Triad Fish Trucks can be found driving around Chinatown in Portland, but be careful if you try and hijack one there. The sidewalk markets and street corners of Chinatown are packed with Triad members who will be only too keen to help a fellow gang member in distress.

Sindacco Argento:
The Sindacco Argento is a low riding family saloon that only comes in one colour; silver. It’s fast and powerful, allowing the driver to smash through almost any obstacle with minimal damage to the bodywork. Its heavy back-end can leave the Argento a little prone to fishtailing on sharp corners, so watch the handbrake. The sedate appearance may seem more fitting for the suburbs, but its low growl is perfectly at home in the Sindacco heartlands of Portland. Perhaps it’s not quite as stylish as the Leone Sentinel, but then the Sindacco Family’s look is a little less urbane than the Leone’s.
You’ll find the Sindacco Argento grumbling through the streets of the Red Light District, particularly near the Sindacco headquarters at the Dolls House.

Diablo Stallion:
The Diablos are new in town and struggling to cement their presence. The conspicuous presence of the Diablo Stallion is starting to earn the Hispanic gang a name. The Diablos love to show off their cars, and with good reason. Taking the classic American muscle car and making it their own, the Diablos are not to be messed with. You’ll probably hear it before you see it, but you can’t miss the gorgeous curves of the Diablo Stallion. Taking the classic Stallion as the starting point, the Diablos lovingly replace almost every panel of bodywork, paint it black and then cover it in flame vinyls. The work certainly isn’t just cosmetic though, the engines have been tuned to the highest degree, and massive air intakes added to keep the engine properly aerated.
The Diablo Stallions charge through the streets of Hepburn Heights, and make a fine vehicle for shock attacks on rivals.
