First PSP Katamari Damacy shots roll into view

PSP News | Along with Japanese release date and confirmation of four-player mode.
Namco certainly don't mess about when it comes to divulging juicy portions of information. It's been only a few days since we reported on how the PSP would be receiving it's own version of Katamari Damacy, and this morning we learnt that the game will launch in Japan on December 22nd, and that it'll be titled I, My Katamari Damacy. Oh, and that it will support up to 4 players via WiFi. 'Woo', and indeed, 'hoo'.

Namco didn't elaborate on the multiplayer (or the possibility of a PAL release), but they did grant us the first dozen screens of the game in action (head to the Media Panel to have a look) and we're pleased to see the game retaining the charming, minimalist look of it's PlayStation 2 forebears. Infact, it stands up quite admirably to the home console versions of Katamari.

More on this as we get it. Obviously.
