TGS 2005: Metal Gear Acid 2 Information

PSP News | A 3D eye? What the hell is that?
Konami has unveiled the latest four images of their upcoming turn-based card game Metal Gear Ac!d 2. Along with this, the game is said to come bundled with a peripheral called a 'Solid Eye' which makes it possible for certain portions of the game to appear in 3D. Although the game is a sequel, it's only a sequel in spirit; Ac!d 2 will feature a whole new storyline, and will not be linked story-wise to it's predecessor. A new heroine will feature in the game called Venus.

We have the latest images direct from Konami in the Media Panel, we'll have more on the game as it becomes available.

Another card game? When will the gaming companies realise that most people don't like those type of games.

I actually like the game and am looking forward to a second game along the lines.

To say it is a "card" game is also a bit of a stretch as well. Put it more down to a Tactics style game where the abilities you can use form turn to turn are random based on the cards you select in your deck. The cards are basically a randomisation mechanic of the turn-to-turn abilities you can perform.
