Free Spider-Man 2 UMD Distributed

PSP News | Check your mailboxes.
In the United States, the PSP Value Pack came with a free Spider-Man 2 UMD. However, in Australia and Europe, you need to register your PSP online at either www.yourpsp.com.au or www.yourpsp.co.uk in order to receive the disc via mail. To register, you must have your PSP serial number handy – this is located on your PSP behind the battery.

It’s nice to see we’re getting a bit of extra value out of our PSPs; however, stocks of the free discs are very limited, so if you haven’t registered already, we suggest you do so quickly. www.yourpsp.com.au also contains several free downloads for your PSP including game maps, short videos and free music tracks. This content is only available to registered members, and you must have your PSP plugged into your computer so it can be downloaded directly.

Now if only the website allowed you to return PSPs with dead pixels...

I wonder how many 'free DVDs' were covered in the exorbitant price...

I believe there were only 6,000 Spider-Man 2 UMDs up for grabs, too - think the initial PSP shipment was 25-30,000.

Well, this is right - they weren't free, they were included in the cost price.

For the U.S. that is.

Yet again, us PAL gamers get the short end of the stick, as we have to fight over our copies.... even though we've paid significantly more than our North Amerian friends.

is that right?

that's seriously fvcked up, as Kloppy said, the US had it included, AND we're (assuming we bought one, i didn't, general "we") paying more.

i don't even see the point of UMD Movies and this p!sses me off.

Uhm, I checked my mailbox today. . . found a couple of bills but no Spiderman 2 UMD! Sony lied! There's no free movie! icon_cry.gif

Pfft, seriously, I'm not holding my breath, if I did, I'd die of suffocation.

About 5000 of them have already posted "I HAVE IT" on the official forums, so that lowers the number down.

I registered on that site on Thursday afternoon (launch day), and if I don't get a free Spiderman 2 UMD I will be very very angry young PSP gamer, in fact probalay writing nasty letters to Sony and getting on their case about a free one. Really, what the hell is this limited number rubbish, there should be a least one for the each initial shippment of PSPs.

Well it goes a bit like this:

Sony = scum of the earth etc.

Yeah, I knew this before purchasing a PSP, and will stand by the fact for the test of time, that I hate Sony, and believe they create stunning but technically flawed and expensive products. But, I believe going to that dodgy yourpsp site on launch day afternoon and registering means I should get this "free great UMD". Period.

Well I registered in the early hours of Saturday morning and I've already got mine, so I'm surprised you haven't got one.

Now if only the website allowed you to return PSPs with dead pixels.

That's gold.
