WipEout Pure downloadable content schedule

PSP News | Latest dates for when those new tracks and skins can be yours.
As one of the stronger PSP launch titles, we're sure hundreds of you snapped up the delightful WipEout Pure to go with your slick new PSP yesterday. While other regions have had various downloadable content available for a while now, Sony has just released a schedule for all PAL purists.

As of yesterday, the Gamma Pack was available to download. It features two spiffy new tracks in Exostra Run and Sebenco Peak, as well as new ship skins, including Tigron & Van Uber. The Delta package, which is due on September 16, is - rather bizarrely - sponsored by the sports brand Puma. Product placement is the name of this package - expect a few new tracks and ships covered with the Puma logo.

Classic Packs 1 and 2 are set to be available for download on October 3 and 16 respectively. Altima VII, Odessa Keys, Porto Kora and Vohl Square will all be available to play, and you will be able to pilot the Goteki 45 and Icarus ships. Plus, some funky new tunes and skins to complete the look. Of course, then there's the Omega package, exclusive to PAL, which was discussed in our review yesterday.

You can snap up all these packages as they become available from the YourPSP website. This is certainly one thing we love about the PSP, and we hope it becomes a standard practice amongst developers.
