#5: Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Price $79.95 / £34.99 | 25 November 2005
Whilst Underground Rivals will only be a few months old when this game sees a release, we're still eagerly anticipating the game. The rather excellent cop chases of previous games are making a return and, even though this version of the game is likely to be a port of the console versions, we think this will be a return to the classic Need for Speed formula that we've so sorely missed.

#4: SSX: Out on Tour
Price $79.95 / £34.99 | 7 November 2005
Most of SSX's previous appearances in handheld form have proven to be something of a disaster. However, this time things are looking promising. The extra power of the PSP means this is one game that should be incredibly fun, and one of the best SSX titles released yet. EA has added new moves such as the handplant, and this game will take players from being a rookie to a snowboarding professional, with a Career mode that's far broader than it's predecessor.
#3: Death Jr.
Price $79.95 / £34.99 | October 2005
Death Jr. was the first PSP title revealed, unveiled at E3 in 2004. The game is a 3D platform adventure game from Konami, and is looking good. There's a likeable gothic art style, some decent characters and expansive levels. Could be the decent platform game the PSP is crying out for, and could possibly have the greatest skeletal hero since Manny Calavera.
#2: Burnout Legends
Price $79.95 / £34.99 | 19 September 2005
Burnout finally sees a release on the PSP, and it hasn't come soon enough. Burnout Legends is an entirely new game in the franchise that takes the best elements from it's two predecessors and combines them into one superb-looking portable title. We're eagerly anticipating this game, and the screenshots look absolutely amazing.
#1: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Price $79.95 / £34.99 | 29 October 2005
Sometimes, the less information is unveiled, the better. All we know about Rockstar's game is that it's set in Liberty City and comes with a brand new storyline to boot, all told against the backdrop of a fully-recreated Liberty City. And whilst no screenshots have been revealed yet, we still simply cannot wait for this. Come October, this could be the reason to own a PSP. We're just hoping Rockstar can deliver for a fourth time.
