Everybody's Golf is a less serious take on golf. The cast of characters is colourful and the environments are alive. The game still features a deep golf game, but it is hidden under a colourful surface. This really is a much more accessible golf game than other golf titles. The PSP version is an entirely new game, created exclusively for the PSP, whilst the game feels like the Playstation 2 editions, the content is completely different to its console brothers.
The game itself features six new courses, new characters (bringing the total to ten) and five caddies. The game also features an eight player wi-fi multiplayer mode, which should be a lot of fun. In the wi-fi mode, Everyone plays simultaneously and the score will be shown at the end of each round. Players can also choose to start a one-on-one match with another player.
This just makes me want to go play golf.
There are three modes for the player to choose from the outset, single player, multiplayer and training mode. In the single player mode there are another set of options, ranging from a putting challenge to a challenge mode.
Characters in the game can also be customised visually, the customisation of the game is fairly deep, with players able to customise hairstyles, outfits and hats. Performance wise players can also upgrade their golf clubs and golf balls. (Who hasn't wanted to upgrade their balls at some stage?)
Graphically the game is fairly impressive, looking very similar to the Playstation 2 predecessors, the courses are lush and very atmospheric, and these are complimented by how alive the characters are,
The game encourages progression, and lots of characters can be unlocked if you're keen enough. Actually unlocking characters is a long process, so the player has to be extremely dedicated, but the unlockables make the effort worth it.

Everybody's Golf is destined to be a great title, the wireless multiplayer should make this game even more entertaining. Golf fans are well covered with the PSP launch, with Tiger Woods also making an apperance. If you want something different and strangely addictive for your PSP then Everybody's Golf is definitely worth picking up come September 1st.
