Metal Gear Acid confirmed as European launch title

PSP News | Though no news yet on Australian launch.
Konami of Europe has today confirmed that Metal Gear Acid, the card-based tactical espionage action game developed by Kojima Productions, will be one of the launch titles when Sony's PSP first appears on European shores on September 1st. Sadly though, we're still waiting on Konami to confirm whether or not Australians will be able to buy the game from launch.

Admittedly, it's hardly earth-shattering news (seeing as the Japanese and US versions have been knocking about for an age), but it's nice to get confirmation, and it means another big name for the PSP launch line-up.

besides, just because EB (and other game selling stores) are saying it's a launch title, doesn't make it so...

^ Yeah, I know all too well about that. It darn right sucks when you walk in to an EB store excited in anticipation only to find that the game you were looking forward to hasn't even touched Australian soil! icon_sad.gif
