God Eater announced for Australia

PSP News | Namco Bandai bring giant monster eating swords down under.
After spawning a manga and selling 500,000 copies in under a month, Namco Bandai have announced that their answer to Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise, God Eater, will be coming to Australia in 2011, exclusively for the PlayStation Portable.

God Eater is an Action-Adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world which has been devastated by mutant beasts known as Aragami. The worlds only hope is the God Arc weapons and the God Eaters who wield them.

Players will be able to create their own custom character, do battle with over 37 different enemies, and customise massive weapons, bullets, guns and shields, boosting their strength and stamina in the 125+ missions in the game. Bullets can be customised in order to change their strength, patterns and elemental type, allowing the player to make their weapon as effective as possible to take on their current opponent.

Players will be able to take the battle to the Aragami with AI controlled party members, or team up with other players via ad-hoc connection or connect to a PlayStation 3 and play online using adhocParty.
