God of War: Ghost of Sparta first look

PSP News | Kratos isn't finished yet.
It seems that God of War III was not the end of the franchise as there is yet another God of War game in the works, God of War: Ghost of Sparta for the PlayStation Portable.

Sony announced the prequel today, which will once again star the angry God of War protagonist Kratos, and the story will shed more light on his mysterious and blood soaked past. The game will be a single player adventure in a much similar vein to the previous PSP entry, God of War: Chains of Olympus.

The game is being developed by the same studio that created God of War: Chains of Olympus. You can check out the first screens of God of War: Ghost of Sparta below, and we will report more information as it becomes available.

I think Kratos should get that checked. Last I heard, it's not good when your pee is red.

Awesome! This will probably be the only PSP game I buy in like 4+ years..

Red Dawn did a great job with Chains of Olympus and I heard in an old interview that it would be their last God of War title. Glad to hear that isn't the case!

Ready at Dawn, and it was to be their last PSP title. Happy lies. This looks to be a perfect opportunity to showcase their new proprietary engine.
