Eleven new Metal Gear Acid shots

PSP News | Yet more screens from Konami's card-based take on stealth.
Eleven new screenshots of the upcoming PSP title Metal Gear Acid have been released today. Metal Gear Acid is a big deviation from the standard Metal Gear series, as players carry out their actions with the use of cards. Certain cards have values which allow Solid Snake to perform certain moves.

Refer to the media panel for the eleven screenshots. PALGN will have more information on Metal Gear Acid as soon as it becomes available.

Looks fairly detailed, but the use of cards for actions is a bit... odd.

yeah, odd is the word i'd use too...

might work though... i guess the standard mgs games might be hard on a 2 inch screen... especially when you try to spot claymores and the like...

waiting with interest to see how this pans out...

i don't see why i couldn't work, there are card games around that work on similar concepts... the Mortal Kombat Kard Game springs to mind...

and turn based strategy games have been around forever
