Big Boss' beard is pretty awesome in that first picture.

Possible MGS4 spoilers:

I wonder why they redesigned Big Boss' beard for MGS4. In MGS3, Portable Ops and the various artwork he always had a fairly standard number. When he showed up in MGS4 he had nothing connecting the moustache to the beard, and Peace Walker is continuing the tradition. Seems like a weird change to make.

My PSP was sitting in its box for about a year up until E3, but after all the awesome new games announced there I decided to give it a second go. Then I discovered the wonders of custom firmware, and it hasn't left my side in a couple of weeks. Can't wait for Peace Walker.

Ah yes, custom firmware. The answer to Sony's non-existent PSOne support on the PSN. FFVII on the PSP?? Bah I finished it on there almost a year ago.
As for all these new PSP games it certainly means I'll be playing it a bit more than I have over the last 12 months.
