Wow, lots of aliasing, especially in the one with a white background. Does MGS always look so washed out?

You do know they are blown up screenshots, 3 or 4 times bigger than an actual PSP screen? Of course the jaggies are going to be more noticeable.

As Phreak said that's way above the PSP's resolution (480*272) go figure.
Does anyone know if it's a single linear experience like the console MGS' or a mission base style ala Portable Ops?

Current plan is single linear experience. Its written/directed by Kojima, and made by the MGS4 team. From what I've read, not much of the Portable Ops team will be involved.

Ah... PSP! Yes that would explain it. Enlarging pictures from such a small screen size isn't going to be the greatest.

i disagree, MGS games always have used dull pastel coloured environments, if you look at those pics at the small reduced thumb you can still see that it has that softening effect
