Q Games founder Dylan Cuthbert appeared on a recent Spike TV segment to break the news, informing gamers that the handheld version of the title will include extra content than that found in the original PlayStation Network game.
"We got a lot of requests from fan mail and stuff saying they really wanted a PSP-native version [of PixelJunk Monsters]," stated Cuthbert. "We thought, rather than just port it directly, let's add a bit more."
PixelJunk Monsters PSP debut is set for sometime in 2009.
