Buzz! coming to PSP

PSP News | Portable game show, anyone?
Sony has announced that it will be bringing its popular virtual game show, Buzz!, to the PSP this year, IGN reports.

The game is being developed by Relentless Software and will feature over 5000 questions from a wide range of topics in six new round types that have been specifically designed with the PSP in mind. Sony specifically mentioned the Quickfire Challenge as a 'speed-is-of-the-essence' challenge, Picture This as a 'picture-puzzler' and Virus Challenge as 'mind-boggling.'

Buzz! on PSP will feature three multiplayer modes including Pass Around - where one user answers and then passes it on to the player of their choice for the next category, Fast Fingers for four players via game sharing, and Quiz Host mode, which lets six players face off with one of them asking questions and controlling points, taking the role of Buzz.

After numerous releases on the PlayStation 2 and with a PlayStation 3 version looming, it will be interesting to see if the portable version is able to generate the same amount of buzz (sorry) that the console versions did. We'll find out later this year when the game is released.

Should be great, the PS2 games are good fun, but how can it be Buzz without the buzzers? icon_razz.gif
