How long did it take to get sent to your e-mail? I just purchased it also and haven't recieved it yet.

EDIT: Just recieved mine, worked perfectly!
Heard a lot of good stuff about both versions of this game, hope to pick one or both up sometime soon. Last new Sonic game I got (not counting Sonic 4) was Heroes so it should be interesting to see how the gameplay has changed.
Re: Your newest purchase (2 years ago)
Picked up an Xbox 360 Arcade console recently for $168.
Finished Tony Hawk 3 on the original Playstation two times this week, I think I prefer it to the next gen versions of the game.
Re: Your newest purchase (2 years ago)
Couldn't pass this up for $4, marks my 80th Xbox game.

Re: Your newest purchase (2 years ago)
Been wanting to post in here for a while, never got around to it before.

Anyway, this is what I picked up today:

Megaman X8 - $8 from EB
Beyond Good and Evil - $6.50 from EB
Burnout 3 - $5 from EB
Shadow the Hedgehog - $5 from EB
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dawn of Destiny - $5 from EB
Crash Bash - $5 from Cash Converters
Crash Team Racing - $5 from Cash Converters
Re: Gaming Bargains V2 (3 years ago)
Yeah it is. Saw it the other day, they had plenty of copies at my local store.
Re: Your newest purchase (3 years ago)
Recently bought the first two Kingdom Hearts games for $30 and $18 respectively. Happy with my finds.

Currently I'm playing Zelda and the Occarina of time on N64. I remember completing it when I was about 11 but now I'm struggling a bit! I think I might just go back to Banjo Kazooie for awhile!
I'm also playing through OoT at the moment, some parts are pretty frustrating but I can see why it's regarded among the best games in the world. Coincidentally enough, the next game I planned on playing through was Banjo icon_razz.gif

I'm one of the very few who didn't like The End boss fight much.I love how there's 3 ways to beat him. There's also the Konami Code that shows his locations.
Ha, I only just found this out. Damn, coulda popped the old geezer while he was in the wheelchair. One of the series' strengths is definitely the Boss fights. They're always unique, fun, thought provoking etc. etc. The Sorrow was fantastic as well.

I did pretty much everything in the game apart from play it on hard or a higher difficulty.I usually play this on easy as I have trouble beating The Boss.
The Boss was pretty annoying. It was annoying for me due to the time limit. The first time I didn't really have much of a strategy and the time expired. The second time I got her though. The end scene with her was very powerful.

I'm going to try to play all the games in 'correct' order.
What would be the correct order? 3 1 2 4 or 1 2 3 4?
If you're just counting the main games (excluding the first two Metal Gears) then, story-wise, it is 3, 1, 2, 4.
Re: Good Co-Op Games? (3 years ago)
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks.
Metal Gear Solid 4

Everything about this game was epic, especially the final fight.
I'm just wondering how many games people have bought this year.
Only including games that actually came out this year though.

I've only got 3:

Smash Bros Brawl
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit
and getting Prince of Persia on 360 for Christmas.

What about you guys?

Just finished Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. I find it a shame that most people probably passed this game over after the Warrior Within. I too loved Sands of Time, played through all of Warrior Within and was then suitably jaded that I never bothered to play the Two Thrones. What a mistake that was. Top game. Thoroughly recommended. The Speed Kills system is great.

So now I think I'll move onto Silent Hill 3. Never played number 1, I started the series with number 2 which was great. I have to get myself into the mood to play it though. I remember the atmosphere making my skin crawl at times.
Funny, I just started replaying Rival Swords on Wii, what a coincidence icon_razz.gif
Re: Dragon Ball DS (4 years ago)
Loved all of the Dragon Ball Z RPGs on the GBA, this one is looking the goods. Haven't actually played Phantom Hourglass but the gameplay looks pretty fun and also seems similar to Ninja Gaiden DS (in that you walk and attack with the stylus). Can't wait!
I was just wondering what all of you did once you completed a game. Do you keep it? Do you sell it? What do you do with games that you've finished?
Re: The PALGN Top 100 (4 years ago)
1. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
2. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
3. Pokemon Blue
4. Sonic Mega Collection +
5. Goldeneye 007
6. Pokemon Snap
7. Mario Kart DS
8. Tekken 2
9. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
10. Prince of Persia: Rival Swords
Last game I finished was MGS1. It was awesome.

msgs4 indeed.

i never really like mgs 1. Got up to the physcho mantis bit and he smashed me so bad..so never really got back into it. Where mgs1 is exactly in my house at the moment, i wouldnt have the foggiest. Quite liked ps2's metal gear 3.

mgs4 however, just finished fighting with screaming octopus. Epic stuff.
Have you done the controller port 2 trick, it helps icon_razz.gif. Speaking of MGS1, I just finished that yesterday, awesome game but compared to MGS4 it's not that good.

I spent Saturday setting up my PS3 as a complete TVersity Media Centre.
I'm just amazed that someone thought of it! So awesome!

PS3 Media Center X or linux i assume?

playing metal gear at the moment. and all i can say is wow. just wow.

also playing with the idea of installing linux on my ps3.
Do you mean the original Metal Gear, or MGS1.
Started up a character on Diablo 2 yesterday, now a level 7 druid. Awesome game.
I don't know how anyone can play MGS4 without playing any of the previous ones, reading what happened in the story just doesn't justify actually playing the damn thing.
Been playing the original UT, only just beat Xan today. I was relieved.
I think the trading is great if you manage to find some cheapies to trade in, I did it today and got Brawl for around $50.
I just got Brawl today so I'm giving that a bit of a play.
The game's really good, much better than melee. Can't wait to sink a bit more time in it later tonight and tomorrow maybe.
I remember picking VR Missions up for $20 at the local Trash and Treasure markets for my brother a while back.
Everything is horizontal in my house except for the Wii, not that it gets played much anyway.
