I'm doing it with a few game journos, but I haven't updated my photo on the site (http://au.movember.com/mospace/693378/) yet because I'm embarrassed by my terrible mo-growing abilities. Currently at the 'senile grandmother' stage with the mo', hoping to hit 'teenage rapist' by the end of the month.

Am I the only one that thought, at first, that Niko (off GTA4) was driving that car? Anyway, gonna go read it now.
Actually I thought the same thing.

Very happy with this issue, it took a while to come out but everything came together very nicely in the end.
I had great fun with that interview. Awesome team, glad to see the game is getting a positive reaction in the...one review released so far.
There should be HTML versions of every issue on there. Don't bother with Issue 1, though, go straight to 2 and 3, they're leap-and-bound improvements.
Issue 3 is LIVE!

This month we've got a hands-on with Fallout 3 (pre-ban), a bunch of reviews, opinion pieces, all the bells and whistles.

Download it then subscribe, why not?

Wow that looks really well done. The only problem that I can think off atm is that when you get up to a hard part and have to keep repeating it that the comentators voice will get really really annoying. Or was the voice just there for the video and not in the actual game? Hope not because being narrated about while you play is an awesome idea.
If they can keep the commentators as context-sensitive as they were in the trailer in-game, responding directly to the actual attacks and weapons used, it would be great.

Anyhow, I'm very impressed by the style here. It looks like, regretably, I'll be rendering my Freeloader useless after all.
Bump,

Issue 3 should be hitting July 30 or so, to coincide with the review embargo on one of the games therein expiring, so I thought I better get some early pimping in. There's something like 16 reviews, a hands-on with Fallout 3 (oh, the horrible irony!), opinion pieces, previews, the whole shebang. So if you like games, words about the aforementioned activity, Simpsons references and a whole bunch of crazy crap on the walls, get excited. Also, download Issue 2 a few more times. Print it out and stick it up around the place. Enter the competition, even.

Over the coming issues we have some cool stuff lined up. Developers have taken a genuine shine to Issue 2 and we're hoping to push this even further with the third issue.
So I hope *someone* is cooking up something for this competition. Literally millions of dollars were spent producing those games we have up for grabs!

I was in tears reading that Kayne and Linch review. **** hilarious.
Thanks man. It's really been dividing people. I've been told "this was a bad idea" by a few people, "that was hilarious" by others, and Atari, who distributed the game, have probably been more supportive than any other distributor after reading the second issue (I wonder if they read it? >_>).

Any possibility of adding some movie and anime reviews ?
For the moment, I think it's fair to say we'll mostly be sticking with games. Maybe there will be room for expansion in the future, but for now feedback we're getting suggests we should stick to games.
Hello, fellow game-playing internet people. I'm James, the sub-editor on this little project. Preeeetty, preeeeetty, preeeeeetty happy with how the second issue turned out. Try to pick the fake review. Also, please send us money. We're so hungry.
