Ive had my new tv for 4 days now.
IM LOVING IT.
Only issue is foxtel looks average, but everything else looks good.
COD4 looks amazing, very happy i chose the 46 inch.
Ill post some photos up on Saturday as Saturday im getting a new tv unit delivered.

I reckon the X & XBR Series both look good, i went for the X Series as i didnt mind the look & it was cheaper.
Both tv's look very classy, so its cool.

Called into D*ck Smith today & walked out a very happy lad.
Atm D*ck Smith has 15% off Plasmas & LCD's.
Guess what guys.....i got a awesome deal.
I got the 46 inch X Series for $3040 & still get the $200 cash back. So that means after cash back it comes to $2840.
Good thing i called in on my way past after work, thats a much better deal than the Bing Lee one.
So anyone out there looking at getting a new tv, go to D*ck Smith.
I get the tv delivered this Saturday.
Ill post photos of my set up when im all sorted.

Ill be sitting around 4.5 metres away from my tv so im thinking of the 46 inch size.
Bing Lee have the 46 inch X Series Bravia on sale atm, after cash back $3095.
D*ck Smith has the 40 inch X Series Bravia on sale atm, after cash back $2637.
Add say around $330 for the extra 4 years warrenty & a total of $3425 seems very good for a bloody great telly.

Hey guys, im thinking upgrading my PS3 gaming experience by buying a new telly. (atm i have a 68cm tv)
Im looking at the Bravia range, what do you guys think of the 46 inch X-series a good choice ?
What exactly do you need to get these type of tv's up & running, what cables do i need to buy ?
I know i need a hdmi cable but do i need any more cables for foxtel ?
Any help would be great.

Got a email this afternoon from Sony support.
Good news.
My unit has been processed & is being returned.
Finally.
So that means if it takes 2 working days to get to me ill have it back on the 21st.
Its a joke, i live in the same suburb Sony support is at, i wish i could just go pick the bugger up, already asked them but because of security reasons they have to use AUS Post.
But hey, the wait is almost over so yeahhhhhhh bring on the 21st hehe.

Hey guys, now that the DS3 has a AUS release date of the 24th of April at the price of $99.95, is it possible to order the DS3 via play-asia vauled at only $60 AUD & still work on our AUS (40GB) PS3's ?

Im still gonna get my AUS pre ordered copy & LOVE it.
In 2 weeks time we shall know whats cut.
If its worth getting a uncensored import copy ill just buy a import when im ready.

My PS3 came up with the same error code on the 24/3/08, sent it in on the 26/3/08 Sony received it on the 28/3/08 sending me a email saying that they received it noting i should have my PS3 back in 10-12 working days.
I just called them up & they tell me it is not 10-12 but its 15-20 days, what a load of $hit.
So it looks like they will send it back the 24th or the 28th meaning i wont get my PS3 back till the 29th or the 30th.
I was hoping to have it back long before GTA4 comes out.
My b'day was on the 12th & i got Condemned 2 & GT5:Prologue for my b'day. What a waste, i cant even play them, just look at them for now.
Sony support needs a big kick up the ar$e & pull there finger out, i was thinking about buying a bravia tv but if they fu*k people around like this they can stick it.

My PS3 is at Sony now getting fixed.
For some reason games wouldnt load, the PS3 didnt even pick up if a game cd was inserted.
They said it takes 10-12 days to get back a new one ( that was a week & a half ago ), so ill have it back for sure for GTA4.
